Mangosteen - Thailand

Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is a plant species in the genus Garcinia, originally from Southeast Asia. It is a slow-growing, tropical tree that produces small, round fruits with thick, smooth purple skin that remains dark when ripe. The fruit is significantly smaller than other tropical fruits, with a segmented, juicy, white-colored flesh that has a sweet, mildly tangy flavor. Weighing 100–200 g, it is rich in vitamins C and B, fiber, and antioxidants.
